Phil Evans
Phil Evans is an Irish filmmaker working from studios in Copenhagen Denmark and Malmö Sweden.
Phil found skating in the small town of Bray and quickly realised his skills did not lie on the board but instead behind the camera, thus began his journey of ducumenting people better than him.
Having a low tolerance for doing the same project over and over, Phil’s films often delve into mixed media formats. Phil’s unique animation style is a fusion of traditional hand-drawn techniques and modern digital tools, allowing him to create visually rich, textured work that feels both nostalgic and contemporary.
These pieces have led Phil to work in unexpected areas such as the Champions League, Wimbledon, tech, music and fashion industries, but he always returns to his first love of skateboarding.
